Dealer Terms

These terms govern dealer participation with Laptop Depot, operated by EA Point (M) Sdn Bhd.

1. Registration and approval

Dealers must provide accurate contact, business, dispatch and payout bank details. Applications are subject to verification and approval.

While awaiting approval, applicants may prepare product drafts in the Vendor Dashboard. Listings remain hidden until dealer approval and product review.

2. Product listings

Dealers are responsible for accurate descriptions, compatibility information, condition, warranty details, prices and available stock. Dealers must have the right to sell their listed products.

Dealer Cost represents the agreed cost per unit and is kept private from customers.

3. Profit sharing

Net profit is calculated as:

Product sales after discounts − Dealer Cost − allocated payment processing fees − any separately agreed expenses.

Positive net profit is shared equally:

  • Dealer: 50%
  • Laptop Depot: 50%

Dealer payout includes the Dealer Cost returned, the dealer’s profit share and the agreed shipping allowance.

Orders with missing information, negative profit, refunds or disputed amounts require review before payout. Payment fees may be adjusted to match the actual gateway settlement.

4. Shipping and fulfilment

Dealers are responsible for packing and dispatching their products and updating shipment tracking.

The standard shipping allowance is RM9.90 for West Malaysia and RM18.90 for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, once per dealer per physical order.

Heavy items, additional parcels, free-shipping promotions and delivery costs outside the standard allowance require agreement with Laptop Depot. Dispatch requirements and responsibility for lost or damaged parcels must be confirmed before fulfilment.

5. Payouts

Payouts are made manually to verified bank accounts after fulfilment, payment settlement and applicable refund or dispute checks.

The payout schedule will be confirmed during dealer approval. An amount shown as “Due” is a bookkeeping record, not confirmation that a bank transfer has occurred.

Bank-detail changes require verification before use.

6. Returns, refunds and adjustments

Dealers must cooperate with Laptop Depot in resolving incorrect, defective, damaged or misdescribed products and warranty claims.

Refunds may require adjustments to Dealer Cost returned, profit share and shipping amounts. Processing fees retained by the payment provider remain an expense to be reconciled; they are not automatically deducted from a customer’s refund.

Any adjustment involving an amount already paid to a dealer must be documented and communicated.

7. Account and information security

Dealers may access and manage only their own listings and authorised order information. Customer information must be used only for fulfilment and related support.

Business and bank details are used for verification, account administration and payouts, as explained in Laptop Depot’s Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptance and contact

By submitting an application, the applicant confirms that the supplied information is accurate and accepts these terms.

Material changes to commercial arrangements will be communicated before they apply to future orders.
